My Pay it Forward Promise is one of the things I am most proud of as a mortgage professional. Each time a mortgage is financed through me, I donate $50 to the charity of the borrower’s choice. And while $50 does not seem like a lot, the results are pretty nice by the end of the year.

In 2013, I donated a total of $5,000 on behalf of my clients. These donations were broken down between a number of different charities, which I will list below. That totals 98 donations for $4900, and I am still waiting to hear back from two customers who closed the last week of the year. With their donations, the grand total will be $5000.
